A small enthusiastic team with a big company payoff
The Product team currently consists of 3 people. The team is looking for a visionary and fearless Product Manager (PM) who will be responsible to drive key areas of Capacity forward. This PM will be responsible for owning a portion of the overall product roadmap: understanding customer needs, our business strategy, and key technical considerations, weighing them, and collaborating with other members of the product management team and their UX and engineering counterparts to build and maintain a concrete vision of the direction for their area of product responsibility.
We’re looking for a curious and independent thinker with a demonstrable track record. Someone that is extremely collaborative and supportive of the entire team and will partner with leadership to help drive on-going strategy. This is an individual contributor role but with considerable input to help shape go-to-market strategies.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
Help define and develop the product roadmap for an evolving product for knowledge management
Work closely with a highly talented team of engineers, product designers, and product marketers to design and build a product that excites customers
Meet with amazing customers, analyze interesting data, and research competitors to develop and communicate a vision for how we’re going build a great product/business
Be a key part of Capacity's multi-product mission; developing and delivering Capacity features that support our business objectives
2+ years experience in product management at customer-focused SaaS companies
Proven experience building and launching software or services to a customer base
Examples of successful product delivery to meet business objectives
Examples of post-launch monitoring and course corrections based on feedback
Proficient in techniques to gather and analyze data to make decisions
Examples of using data to inform product and business choices
Understanding of competition and ability to distil key product advantages
Experience gathering and translating market/customer research product requirements
Excellent written communication skills for varying audiences; customers, engineering, marketing, program management, and executives
Bonus if you have:
Experience with customer service or knowledge management or equivalent platforms
Experience with APIs
Proficiency with workflows and support automation tools
Keen understanding of tradeoffs and timelines
Experience with complex multi-year contracts
Proficiency with security and compliance requirements

Our sister company, Create A Loop, brings rigorous computer science courses to underserved communities with little to no access to formal computer science education. There are many opportunities for our Capacity team members to serve and educate our Create A Loop students throughout the year.
What is compensation like at Capacity?
