A small enthusiastic team with a big company payoff

The Marketing Ops team is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate who will be responsible for the execution of Marketo marketing campaigns to prospects and customers. This team member will serve a vital role in managing campaigns to keep them moving forward while maintaining the integrity of every communication. The associate will create emails, build programs, manage the QA process, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, execute campaigns, and assist in monitoring operations metrics.

  • Meet and shadow current members of the team.

  • Learn the capabilities of the marketing automation platform and the communications strategies we employ.

  • Begin training in Marketo for building programs, campaigns, emails, and landing pages.

  • Set your OKRs with your manager and develop an action plan

Within three months, you will…

  • Build and launch email campaigns and event programs in the marketing automation tool, Marketo.

  • Demonstrate adaptability to sudden changes in scope, schedule, or design or projects.

  • Clearly communicate project changes to relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure project deadlines are met and campaigns are delivered on time or ahead of schedule.

  • Manage segmentation of our audiences and handle the importing of new leads in Salesforce as it pertains to Marketing events.

Within six months, you will…

  • Work cross functionally with the Marketing team, Sales Operations Manager, and the Director of Revenue Operations to understand the goals, audience, design, and data management of every campaign.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager to identify and resolve any campaign deliverability issues, and to monitor and improve the campaign deployment process.

  • Assist the Marketing Operations Manager with reporting related to email performance including deliverability, open and unsubscriber rates.

  • Execute A/B testing campaigns as defined by the Marketing Operations Manager and Marketing team across both email and landing pages.

  • QA all campaign communications, ensuring an error-free communications program.

Within one year, you will…

  • Be considered a top performer by consistently delivering error-free campaigns in a timely and consistent manner.

  • Set an example for new operations team members, assist in training, onboarding and motivating.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work with different teams and personalities.

  • An ability to keep yourself on schedule and on task with little to no supervision.

  • A basic understanding of email marketing strategy and implementation.

Bonus if you have:

  • Job experience in a role involving task planning and execution.

  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.

  • Basic understanding of Marketo and Salesforce.

  • Experience in B2B marketing.

  • Experience with email service providers.

  • Experience using project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.)

What is compensation like at Capacity?
