An amazing marketing team

The Marketing team is looking for an experienced SaaS marketer to lead a growing content and demand team. We like to say we’re small but mighty! Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will be a critical driver to growing our pipeline and bookings. You will be held accountable for creating content and campaigns that convert across a variety of channels including SEO, SEM, and working with our media and channel partners. The team you will be leading currently consists of a Marketing Associate and a Graphic Designer.

As a Manager of Demand Generation you will…

  • Understand and drive growth in the following areas for Capacity:
    • Demand generation

    • Lead generation

    • Content marketing

    • Social media

    • Digital marketing (SEM, SEO, paid social, sponsored content)

    • Lead nurturing

  • Help develop marketing campaigns to generate opportunities and pipeline in our core ICPs, as well as work with the team to figure out additional ICPs

Within one month, you will...

  • Learn about our mission, our product, our value proposition, our customers, our team and our processes

  • Virtually meet each person on your team, as well as key stakeholders in other departments for a casual introductory call

  • Meet with our agency partners and familiarize yourself with them

  • Get familiar with our website and it’s architecture

  • Gain and understanding of our SEO strategy to date and start to setup your key reports

  • Meet with your supervisor to discuss departmental KPIs

  • Take inventory of and understand our existing demand generation campaigns

  • Begin formulating how you want to optimize and improve existing campaigns

  • Be celebrated for having a few optimizations and new campaign launches

Within three months, you will...

  • Continue to gain experience and comfort with our sales and marketing strategy

  • Have evaluated our current agency partners and have a plan to continue or change those relationships

  • Launch new campaigns across our channels

  • Have your plans on executing against our revenue goals approved by the VP of Marketing and in progress

Within six months, you will…

  • Work cross functionally with sales, customer success, marketing, and marketing operations to be consistently driving leads that convert into customers across channels

At your one year anniversary you can look back and say that…

  • You played a key role in the marketing team achieving their goal of 30% of company pipeline being sourced by marketing campaigns

  • Have led your team into future growth opportunities.

  • Look back with pride that you figured out how to implement ABM practices at Capacity.



Requirements

About You

You love marketing, like really love it. You’re also data driven, strategic, and willing to roll-up your sleeves to get things done. You are also low ego and willing to experiment, but also be totally OK with being wrong if the data says so. You also understand how to collaborate with sales and make their jobs easy. Capacity is a startup, so you have the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B and responsible for the demand generation function at a SaaS company.

  • 5+ years experience with Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and other ad networks

  • 5+ years working with or around Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot or other typical B2B tech stacks.

  • 3+ years managing other marketers.

  • An expert, or on your way to becoming an expert, in SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, ABM and nurturing leads.

  • You understand the full funnel and sales cycle. You know what works in the interest and awareness stage, and how that is different from down funnel marketing when prospects are ready to talk to sales.

  • You understand what good content is and how to make it. Whether it is an explainer video, an image ad on LinkedIn, or a blog article optimized for search, you know how to put it together.

  • You have experience working with agency partners and outsourcers to get things done.


Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in ABM

  • Experience in marketing $100k+ ACV SaaS products

  • Any HTML / CSS skills

What is compensation like at Capacity?

  • Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000
